Great turn out today 18 Zeds made up a total of 25 BMW's on display. Great location close to the parade ring Catering and toilets. So a good turn out of Zeds on a sunny day at Clumber.
One criticism i have and its a biggie and one that could possibly sway people returning, was the long winded way and the state of the unmade roads we were forced down to get to the show ground. Rational for the move from 2017 was the compact area last year, but surely with the vast areas and extensive road network better could have been achieved.
Not sure whether its the National trust or the event organisers that are responsible but as a major exhibitor at this and other events run by the organisers i will be airing my views.
Anyway on a more positive notes here's a few Pictures from me of a lovely day spent with my fellow Zedding buddies.

Grouping the cars ready for a convoy to Clumber:

Agreed Paul the roads in were shocking and the state the cars got into is really unacceptable. Pleased your having a word. I have posted but it's on the old thread. I'll see if @GazHyde to move it here for me?? Pretty please Gaz :thankyou:

Great pics mate, tracks aside, glad you all had a top day

That looks a great day with some lovely cars

Took me an hour to get out! Plenty of older cars overheated on the way out.

Yep, thanks Paul for the day, what a scorcher !!
Have to agree approach road was a mess, so were hours of
Cleaning wasted the day before, also took an age to get out!
Moaning over good day out with some great cars on show.

Cheers Brian

Looked like a fab day.

Man what a scorcher! Fantastic day out with fellow zedders at Clumber. I have to say I was disappointed that they moved the show area from where it was last year, this could just as well been a field in the middle of nowhere and if I'm honest the organisers could not have found a worse location for the row of toilets?
I was not happy, as weren't most others about having to get the insides and outsides of our cars filthy from the ride in through the forest to get to the show field. Took us 30 minutes to cover 0.7 mile on the way out through the forest too.

On the up side it was great to meet up with some friends and fellow enthusiasts to chat cars in the sunshine. Some lovely cars there today .

And, harking back to days when I worked at a Chrysler garage 40 years ago, these.

This always was a rare car,I only ever saw one in the 9 years I worked there, a Matra Simca Bagheera, gorgeous looking car with 3 seats in a row, all LHD.

A car with a shape only a mother could love, but at least they do a convertible model so can't be all bad.

And this, this must be the best Morris Marina left in captivity, it's beautiful.

Thanks again to Paul for his organisation with us and the BMWCC. Let's do it all again in 5 short weeks at ZedFest, and only 3 weeks after that at Torksey Lock. Cheers all thanks for another great day on.org.

Tony and Shirl.

Great pictures of some lovely old motors, looks like a good day.
Can't believe that old Morris Marina has survived in such great condition :wideyed:.
Seen some old 80/90's cars here in France in absolutely fantastic shape, mainly because they don't put road salt down in winter to rot the cars away.

Yes Tony, I was also looking at the Matra, when they came out I thought the 3 seater coupe was a great idea. The little Ginetta G15 used to belong to my best friend. He also had a G33 which he still has, but never drives.

Great photos with a superb selection of cars on display - great stuff!!

We had a Striking Orange Bagheera for sale new (Forced purchase by Manufacturer), ended up doing a dealer transfer, Doncaster just wasn't ready for French flair.
As with the Rancho way ahead of its time.

Steve that Marina was seriously as good (if they ever were!) as the day it left the factory, that includes under the bonnet.

The Marina was in great condition, but they were dreadful ! Why would anybody want to preserve one, perhaps as an example of why the British motor industry died !

Marinas were nasty when they first came out, and have not improved any with age.

They were only a re bodied Morris Minor which was just as awful.

Tony.

Just going to change the oil on ours and found this.
