Made the most of a dry day down south to drive down to an early morning rendezvous near Horsham and then on to the Bluebird Cafe in Ferring via some back roads. Not too many damp patches on the roads, so lots of fun. Once it was light, I stopped for an oil top up and put the roof down to enjoy the sun.
After breakfast, the plan was to drop in at Goodwood and then back home on some favourite roads via Petersfield. Route home changed after we discovered a lot of flooding near Mid Lavant, but ended up having a nice blast through Midhurst, Petworth and Wisborough Green instead.
Might be suitable for a small group of southern Z’s at some point.
