Some really special cars in there
Boston Green wide body was immaculate, as was the Phoenix yellow Z3M coupe (S54).
The 250GT replica was very nice. Not a trace of BMW visible from the outside. Lots of other interesting non BMW stuff there too of course.

I live extremely close to Bicester Heritage. So, I always head down there on a Scramble day. Brilliant event!
So what is the Mirage (250GT) based on. It's not a z3 windscreen
Looks like the running gear is Z3, but all the glass is new. I looked quite carefully and couldn’t see any BMW bits.
Not just the glass. The windscreen frame is different. The angle of the A pillar is totally different. If it's z3 it's not just a rebody.
I think you’re right. Engine looks to be based on an M54 or M52 but I think that might be it.

The dark coloured 328 looks to be the pick of the BMWs there - very nice!

Saw another one this weekend. Confirmed that it’s a replica, not a rebody. Engine and gearbox is BMW, not necessarily Z3. The guy who was showing it said he made the original 250 Cali body for the Z3 rebody. Apparently, at some point someone bought 3 of the kits and made copies themselves.
I promise myself time and time again to get to Bicester, but yet again I've failed.
Need to get the diary working well.
