Awesome day was only expecting to get my new badges fitted
Was great seeing you all and the zeds
 
It did seem to escalate quite quickly... Was expecting an early finish as well, but didn't get home till 8ish! Had a nice little cruise around with @Lee and @pgunter just as the sun was coming down. Almost got to have venison for tea, were it not for the lightening reactions of the deer.
 
What you actually mean @GazHyde that the deer nearly landed in your passenger seat.. haha A very close call for both you and the deer...

Perhaps the deer wanted to come for a ride? Was more worried about the deer flying over the roof of mine and on to your bonnet :wideyed:
 
Yes that would have been a mess... and a right pain.. But we could have had Venison Steak and Burgers for a week or two...Hmmmm
 
Must be the time of year lads, we went to a darts match between Lincoln and Newark last Monday and in all my life I have never seen any of the local deer population.
We saw a total of 3 on the way there and back, one of which almost did the same to my mates Ka as nearly happened to you Gaz.

I have them come up and look in our front window and it's quite common to have a half dozen milling around our yard and vehicles. It's the bears in spring that are the biggest worry as they're hungry. Had a racoon got in the attic last year, what a pain! Also get fox, moose, etc visiting quite regularly. JIM
 
@oldcarman.... Bears, Racoons, Moose that sounds like a hazardous place to live. I had a brush with death during the summer.

I got chased out my garage by a wasp =))
