I've been trying for God knows how long to get hold of soft tops croydon.
Emails are all being returned for a false address and never had an answer from the number in over a month of trying.

Are they still in business?

They never used to do red, and those prices are a lot dearer.
I wonder if it's under new ownership?
I suppose it's still cheaper than the majority but they now don't warrant people travelling far for them

My only problem is I take the zed to London one weekend a year in October so that would be ideal to drop it off.
If I took it to Swansea it would have to be in that same journey.

That's 3 tanks of fuel :( and a very very long drive back from London via Swansea.
If I pay the extra 200 for croydon...

I suspect they may put prices up in summer. I know the guy in Coventry does. You can't blame em I suppose.

Is Coventry not more sensible for you? I've used the guy and his prices are comparable but no one is going to beat Jack Smith for value.

You can get a cheap and decent enough B&B in Swansea (Oystermouth Road) and you'll have a stunning sea view. Not sure of price these days but at a guess £30-£35.

Oystermouth Road is in walking distance of Jack Smith.

Who's the guy in Coventry?
Swansea is out of the question for me too many miles and too long a drive. Especially since I'll be a tad rough from a weekend in london.

I spoke to Croydon before booking my new hood, was not too impressed, googled their premises also not too impressed.

Got mine from Monsoon, down the road from Croydon directly on the A22.

With vents, top quality material and fitting @ £685.-- fitted, not the cheapest but so happy i
choose them.

They will offer a lift and pick up from the station so you can get back to town or a day our in Eastbourne or Brighton.

Just google Soft Tops Coventry. He's near the town centre.

If you weren't impressed with his premises then you should see Jack Smiths! I've used both Croydon and Swansea in the past and despite the premises I can recommend both of these guys. But as mentioned it's too far for some to travel despite the costs being cheaper. If anyone is after a new hood and are close to either I wouldn't hesitate in sending you in their direction. The material these guys use is exactly the same as Monsoon/BAS or most other manufacturers, they just make there own.

Ha ha. Yes Jack Smith's premises are basically a large double garage in a back street.
