Yes, just saw your post on f.b.
140 mph :wideyed: bad boy. We've done the opposite today. Just nice, steady and relaxed, didn't go above 55 all day. In fact I even had two cars overtake us.

Don't you be blaming me young Albert =))
I managed a couple of local runs today Steve, great to be back in my Z.

Tony.
Good man, i bet you felt like a kid at Christmas time being out in your zed after all that time .

Rutland Water?

Good call mate. Looks like a nice relaxing day. Did you store the route or was it just a "let's turn left here" scenario?

Went for a cuppa at dove cottage cafe where we went with you and jue on that nice foggy morning, then did part of the belvoir route but missed out the market harborough part. Ended up on some excellent country roads to Whitwell but, guess what......didn't record it :banghead:. Sara has a good memory though ;).
The return journey was a magical mystery tour looking for a petrol station. Satnav took us to an out of the way station on lovely scenic roads only to find it closed when we got there . No problem though, just had to skirt around Melton to find a Tesco with a fuel station, all good fun.
Going to try it again with the nav set to record some time.

@Bozzy ... you have been spending too much time with The Mints.. lol.. it will be teashops and cake runs next.. =))

So you weren't in Spain Steve ! Obviously you got a bit more sun over there to the East. We went over Ashbourne way and it was very dull and grey most of the time, but fairly warm. Still had a nice drive out, stopped for a drink near Longford and then had dinner at a pub on the way back at Turnditch.
