Write Up 1st Run Out of 2019

Back from our Antipodean travels and the call of the Zed was too great. Got her out to make sure she was ok after her winter hibernation, then taxed her and off we went. A short run up the Peaks for lunch and home. Roof down all the time but notice the snow in the photos.
It was 29 C on route to the airport last week, it was 8 today, bit chilly for us.

You must have felt like a kid at Christmas time after such a long break from zedding .

Must admit I did curse the weather this morning, why couldn't have been like this yesterday .

Always great to get out, I got home from work with about an hour of light left, had my tea and straight out for a roof down blast

Nice pictures....didnt realise there was still snow around ‘ up country’.

Yep, it was a bit pants on Sunday but looking at the forecast for Monday, it was fine. It just had to be done

Yes we had a few snow flurries yesterday up this neck of the woods. Winter is hanging on here

It's so good to feel the air in the face again!
Here too we had an excellent week: 20-25 C at noon, every day!
I didn't take the Zed for insurance reasons, but I did it with my Jawa, continuing the running in stage!
It was really great, few hundreds km in the sunny days!...
