    Z3 insurance

Hagerty were the most competetive and easiest to deal with when I was searching last year, under £500 for 2x Z3, both with agreed values, legal cover, key cover, RAC breakdown, trailer cover, 90 day EU cover etc. Low usage though, I think they're on 1800 miles each.

    Hood Dye

I've not used the product or the company, but they will ship to France via ebay shipping program. If you input your postcode it will give you the shipping and import costs. Strange, as I thought all personal imports between the UK and EU were tax and import duty free if under 150€...

Lovely looking car - but beware!!!

Terrible from WM Police. Total waste of resources, as others have said, clearly been used as a click baity press tool.

Thinking of going down to one car, anyone else sold up and done similar?

I have the two Z's and until the weekend had a Merc C55 AMG and BMW E21 323 which I have now sold to a friend for his collection. Monster mileage every year! Not considered Boxster or Cayman, I'll have to take one for a drive. Had some seat time in a 991 Turbo S last year, but it had far too...

Thinking of going down to one car, anyone else sold up and done similar?

Working from home has made me rethink my car ownership journey. At present I have a mini collection of 4x "modern classics" and 2x daily drivers, of which I am only using one or two at a time as I keep them in storage. It feels like owning and driving is moving away from being a hobby and...

    Tyre Recommendation

Pilot Sport 4 are great. I believe there are a few companies offering £50 off if you purchase x4. EDIT: blackcircles.com has £40 off. Use code 4mich40 during checkout.

No acceleration when pedal pressed, any ideas?

Thanks for the replies. Thought I'd give a quick update; plugged my reader in and it showed the following: Fuel bank 1 + 2 permissible range exceeded. Signal, mass air flow sensor. Plausibility, signal, brake light switch/brake-light test switch. Fired the car up without clearing the codes to...

    One out two in!

Very nice. I've not seen a z in that colour combo before, looks great. Are they all red by coincidence?

No acceleration when pedal pressed, any ideas?

Nope, no warning lights / Eml. I didn't have my scanner handy, but I'll scan it later to see if it shows any readings and report back.

No acceleration when pedal pressed, any ideas?

So I took the 2.2 out for a drive a few days ago and it ran flawlessly. Went to start it this evening and it fired up for a split second then cut out. Tried again same thing. Third time lucky I thought, so pressed the accelerator and it came to life, perfect I thought, time to go for a drive...

    Rust

I've used both Dinitrol and Hammerite schutz and waxoyl over the years. Both do a good job, just make sure you clean all loose rust as best as possible and cover/mask everything you don't want to seal... and wear a good mask and eye protection lol.

    Replacement rear window

I've used STCS in Coventry a couple of times. Definitely recommended if it's not too far away from you as the price including fitting isn't far off the cost of the replacement screen linked.

    Life goes on.

Impressive setup! How long do chickens usually lay for? And what happens to them after they stop laying? I've always assumed they are sold for meat processing for animal feed etc.
