Wow, probably the warmest welcome I've had on a forum in a long time. Thank you all!

Where you based?
I'm based in West Yorkshire. The county of urban sprawl.

Greetings Mr Zont, the 2.8 Z3 is an inspired choice! A lovely engine with low down torque, and grunt further up the rev range. Good ones are great value now, but creeping up in price. My preference is for the pre ass lift model, ( mine's a 1998 one ) and some say these are more sought after, but any good 2.8s are great!. Best of luck with your hunt, there are some beauties out there.

Bonzo.
I prefer the preface also, however I've never been a fan of amber indicators, on any vehicle lol.

The 2.8 come with factory fitted LSD's, is that correct?

Hi and welcome, we may go head to head one day as I too am on the lookout for a 2.8. I missed out on a bargain a couple of days ago,
Haha 'There's plenty for the both of us, may the best man win'.

Mine did! I believe they all did, but not 100% sure. Amber indicators etc. are for the purists who must have original everything, which is fine by me, but mine was de-tangoed when I bought her. Here she is. Her name is Z3lda.

@Sean d that looks great. Is that a bmw colour?? Might be easier for me to go through a build thread if you have one lol.
