Write Up Valentines Day Drive.

To The Carding Shed in Holmfirth.
Our first visit there since it moved to new premises.
It didn't have the same feel to it as the old place some how, although they have some gorgeous classic cars for sale.

The drive there and back was superb, especially the road where we turned off the snake pass towards Holmfirth. It was like a mini alps road with quite a few switch backs, I was giggling away to myself as we went round them , Sara wasn't as smiley though .
We defo should get a little group of us together to have a play on these excellent roads. Going to spend a day up that way to explore and search out more decent roads at some point.
Didn't take any pics of the scenery and roads, was too engrossed in the driving enjoyment.

Bob is washed and shiny again, ready for an east coast excursion tomorrow all being well.

Shoot ! Holmfirth is an HD9 postcode, I live about 5 miles away in HD8 - and I never knew this place existed ! (Makes note of postcode for outing).

I'm new to my zed, intending to drop over those roads to the Derbyshire Peaks (Bakewell is always a target, a proper tart - no icing !). If ever people are passing through this neck of the woods, let me know, will meet up if at all possible (work means only weekends and summer evenings mind). Slight restrictions atm as Herself has had some major surgery, but Yes in principle . . .

Had another great day out in Bob today, a roof down drive to Skeg, via Willingham woods and Cadwell.
