Expecting a dull wet January day it was a surprise when the sun burnt through at the opening of the new BMWCC office at Great Northern Classics, Derby. The car park was packed with everything from Z3s to i8s. Lunch later and a drive through the Peak with these two.

Thoroughly enjoyed that both, pleasant day, pleasant company, roof only up when parked. Liked the roads you found Ken, if only I could find them again - and that was a spot on lunch at Ashbourne Garden Centre.

Paused at Bakewell to pick up a pudding, discovered the parking machines dispense a 30 minute park for free ticket if you just press the green button. Might admit to a bit of a blast on the way home via Strines . . .

Yes Summer driving is one of the reasons for getting a Zed, but Winter driving can also be recommended, that's for sure . . .

Thanks guys, good run out !

As said really good day, our own little Red White and Blue Italian job (well German Job) invaded the GNC. I knew it would be busy but wow estimate around 200 cars in total, it was full.
Really enjoyed the run afterwards always a great site Zeds in convoy.
Plans are for a Zed special at a later breakfast meet sometime this year will post more details when available, all welcome.

Great pics guys, was the Ashbourne Garden Centre, Fairways? If so been there lots of times, plenty of room in the car park;)
I was out Zedding yesterday too, no pics though as I spent most of the time on the M6, and, ashamed to say with the roof up:(.
But as we've said before 'out is out'

Surprised you noticed the size of the car park, Dave - expected a comment on the cake quality :woot:

Yes,Fairways Dave, the only one there I think. Yes, there is a good choice of tasty cakes although I tend to go for the apple pie! :)
Must come clean , only Alex had the top down.
He's tough, didn't even have a hat on, or bonkers! 🥶

Haha - only need a hat for two reasons 1 keep the rain off when slowed down & 2 with a peaked cap to act as a sun visor 'cos the E89's seems to have been an afterthought. Neither was a problem yesterday. The vents in the E89 are properly sorted, keep you warm on crisp autumnal and winter days, no problem. Very enjoyable day out, thanks again both . . .
