Thought this rain would never end but there was a suitable break in it this morning so with all the Halloween paraphernalia packed away we were off.
Nothing fancy so just the usual route without a refreshment stop but with the addition of pom poms.
Sometimes it's the simple things in life you enjoy the most and I can certainly testify to that after polishing off the beans on toast we had following our return home

Oh yes - sometimes for a change I even slice it, lay it on the toast and pour the beans on top. LovelyWith grated Cathedral City Cheddar on top?

Me too, usually melt the cheese slightly on the toast under the grill then pour the beans on top. Alternatively I add a layer of chorizo slices on top of the cheese and warm to let the flavour onto the cheese before adding the beans. Masterchef!
