After a great day out at Zedfest when we got up into Scotland weather was still decent so cut off motorway to go through Wanlockhead and Leadhills on way home as at the right time of year this picturesque section of road becomes outstanding.

Stephen

Hello Stephen,

Your not wrong it looks stunning, must be a spectacular drive…………..

There's a road between here and Lincoln which in late spring is lined with Rhodadendron bushes and in a convertible car in the evening the smell is awesome.

Tony.

Beautiful scenery Stephen. I went across the Peaks recently and the heather was superb and stunning scenery.

A journey I've enjoyed on many occasions Stephen. A favourite drive of mine in my Zed. Some great photos.

What a wonderful place to live in. You are blessed indeed. The Zed looks great in the amazing if somewhat lonely landscape. What a great drive home. My drive home was mostly concrete and tarmac motorway.
Hope to see you again.
This pass is about 40 miles from my house its a wonderful little bit of road looks a lot more isolated than it is but it's definitely rural .
Even where I stay Kieran I am 3 miles or so from the coast where some of the sunsets are just stunning never tired of the view summer or winter

Yes it's a great bit of road and through the Durisdeer pass as well especially when the Heather in bloom and the Hills are purple.

Stephen.

As you say Steve, stunning. No other word for that mate.

Tony.

No mate, would be asking a lot.

Tony.
