Had a bit of a traumatic week with my parents, their house was broken into and ransacked by some lowlife piece of sh***. They are in their 80,s and quite vulnerable, so been busy changing locks and securing windows.

There was also a kitchen knife found in one of the bedrooms when we started cleaning up, so that takes it from burglary to burglary with intent. My parents were out at the time, Im extremely thankful they were as who knows what might have happened.

Anyway dropped in today to make sure they were alright. Dad wanted a few things checking just to re-assure himself so after that Mum wanted a play in the coupe. That was until she sat in it, realised how long and low the car is and everything is on the wrong side.

So took a few pics instead of her taking it for a spin.

Thought it was beautiful but not at her age.

Hey Andy, that smile on your mum's face is priceless. Hope it helps erase the thoughts of scum messing up their home mate.:)

Andy, after the rough time you and your family are having I hope things start to settle for you all. What happened at your parents house is disgusting, breaking in is bad enough but to ransack the place is to show how much they really don't give a toss! Like you say the knife legally takes it to the next level. I hope they are caught and soon.
I used to own a car pitch many years ago and was having a lot of trouble with damage to cars. Myself and a couple of mates decided to go and sit in waiting one Saturday night and two guys turned up around 10pm. I waited till they made their first move on one of the cars and I jumped him. I wore steal toecapped boots which being older now realised probably wasn't the best idea but hey ho, I booted him in the stomach and sat on him whilst my mate rang the police. They turned up and arrested him, the other got away, when they searched him he was carrying a knife. The outcome could have been very different.

Sorry to hear of your folks troubles, not nice at all. At least sitting in your Coupé put a smile on your mum's face.

So sorry to hear of the break in. Foot in Bathtubs need a good slap.
I hope they can get everything sorted and will soon feel safe in their own home again.
The coupé looks the business and I'm glad your mum likes it.

Bad news about the break in Andy but good photo of your Mum in the Coupe. You'll have to be careful, she may change her mind;)
