Im a sucker for a pretty car, when their as pretty as the Alpine Blue Goldeneye Z3 at £3300 with decent history (insurance £200 tax £280) being sold by a rich gent in Surrey well Im in! The first weekend I took the good lady for a spin told her I might have to pretend to be macho, toxic at times and all she had to do was swoon and do exactly as I said........well I had to go forth and multiply as you can imagine :blackeye: Anyway all pretense aside I struggle to think of a better value weekend car for the money, seriously if you want some fun, are fed up with the same old bland over assisted offerings from new cars but dont want to break the bank where better to spend your hard earned cash? Im sure the M5 owners club would have something to say but for me the 2.8 manual was a must (just wish it had a 6th gear) the lazy torque is on tap anytime, anywhere I am addicted to hooning onto motorway from slip road and reaching motorway faster than the flow of traffic (obv less than the legal limit ) yes it has creaks Id like to resolve but by all accounts the 2.8 is in keeping with Bond fairly bulletproof.......My advice buy now so what if you dont have a garage at £3300 for a decent one Ive put a breathable cover over it will try not to drive in rain and enjoy it whilst preserving as best I can whole heartedly recommend before old combustion motors are banned orthe preserve of the rich

Haha well said I enjoyed reading that.. I've also recently got mine a 2.8 manual with all the creaks and no assistance ! But like you said the torque and rapidness it gets to where it's going always puts a wry smile on my face lol .and kept outside in all weathers ( there to be used ) 👍
