Hi guys,
Not been on here in a while but looking for some advice. The zed just failed it's MOT, the first MOT since fitting the BC racing damper, due to the difference in the brake hose bracket angle. The words are as the pic attached, but basically they don't have enough room to move. Has anyone else who has these dampers have this problem? If i was to get a custom hose made up, seems like hel hoses are reasonable as a custom job, does anyone know the details of the ends and the length so i can make them a bit longer.

Cheers guys

Do you have a photo of the offending brake line? Sounds like it's a tad short. He also only mentions the near side, is the offside different?

@Lee he has failed the nearside for being twisted and both for insufficient movement.
Like lee said i would like to see a picture of it to see why it has failed . Means its rubbing on something but that could be due to incorrect fitment .

There is no difference in length between the brake hose connector on the car and the brake caliper. The hose usually has a grommet on which can be slid up and down the hose to suit, I have BCs on my car and have no issue at all, have the shocks been put on the wrong side, therefore making the brackets the wrong way round?

To be honest i didn't think they were handed because the hose bracket is not angled like the original they are vertical on the tube
