“I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you’re looking for ransom, I can tell you I don’t have money; but what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career; skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my wing mirrors go now that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you. I will not pursue you. But if you don’t…I will look for you…I will find you…and I will kill you.”

Having a conversation with someone on eBay about my mirrors for sale.
Just going round in circles.
They keep asking if I will take it back if it doesn't fit.
To which I reply it will 100% fit any z3 on the road, guaranteed.

To which they reply, 'but will you take it back if it doesn't'?
.... No, because it fits!

:rage:  :banghead:

Anyone else have trouble with people on ebay?
You should have said... This is not Dorothy Perkins! EBay can be so painful sometimes, if it's not nonsense from the punters it's Ebay punishing you. I asked a question the other day, the bloke said I'll email you some pics, without really thinking I sent my address and subsequently got a temporary message ban from eBay :woot:

I spoke to a really nice polite person based somewhere in the Philippines who said "don't worry I'll get that lifted for you" ... Still banned  doesn't matter that I've nearly bankrupted myself buying car stuff on their site... I'm pretty much done with them now.

‘Liam “Hoogy” Neeson’ doesn’t quite have the same ring to it I’m afraid! =))

Don't know why people fmuck about using Fleabay to be honest?
If I see a wanted post on here and I have got the kit, I send them a PM.

Young chap outside my mates place a couple of weeks ago parked up with his Z3.
Went and had a chat, as you do, and mentioned that I had the OEM boot rack & suitcase.
Sold on the spot.....:D

I sold (thought I did ) a guitar on there last week, but the buyer has failed to turn up and buy it. I've sent several messages without reply so now I've reported him through the Resolution Centre. Just a time waster, but you get them whatever way you advertise stuff. I've lost count of the hours I've spent waiting for people to turn up to look at things I've advertised in papers etc. Fleabay is no better or worse. I've sold and bought lots of things on there without a problem.

I still buy off eBay quite a lot.
I usually filter searches by UK only, however I have noticed now that many Chinese sellers are now advertising "UK based" stuff which takes an age to get, and clearly, when it arrives with an import label, it was not ever UK located..
They promise a delivery date and its never met.. I now have a look at the user name as the Chinese tend to pick two random words and a number.
Luckyfish23, Happylampost13.... you get the idea.
I think you should be able to filter out Chinese products that allegedly UK located. I now look for the quick delivery adverts as they are definitely in the UK
If I sell, its usually collection only, that way they pay cash and they are happy with what they get as they see it in my presence and can't come back with a made up excuse to get a refund.
