Write Up Duxford IWM Classic Car Show (May 2014)

I've seen a couple of piccies of you lot posted on the BMW Car Club Facebook page earlier which made me a bit jealous. Looks like you had really good weather and turnout too.
 
Another good get together for the EAC. The weather was kind to us, it was lovely to meet Domenic and Graham and meet up again with Bill, Jean, Tony and Jane.
 
We'll second that, Mary. Really sunburnt when we got home! :eek: Great day with loads of cars, people and planes, was good to see everybody. Thoroughly enjoyed the picnic, thanks everyone for bringing all the goodies. we had enough to feed the 5000!!!;)

Yeah another great day with the EAC , pictures to follow , .........
Lots of laughter and great fun as normal,
Looks like we're been on holiday our faces are so tanned,
The food was amazing , couldn't eat another thing when we got home was so full up on all the goodies,

Got home about 7 o clock had a great day good company brill food went straight to pub got in about twelve,going to have to get adopted to the eac crew see you all soon.
 
Great day out, nice to meet with old friends and new ones, the food was exceptional (thank you to all who laboured away making it) and even the weather was good. Had a good run home and have spent this morning cleaning all the flies off the bonnet, front bumper and wing mirrors and then had to clean the other Zed.

Thank you all who welcomed me along to the car show. It was nice to meet up at the pub for a drive in. It was a fantastic day, nice people and some great food. What a spread. Hope to meet up again at the next event.

Thanks for the pics and including names. Just a suggestion could you add their member names so those of us on the other side of the water can put names to faces. Wish I was there just doesn't cover my feelings. Love the fact you had such good weather and such a good time. Thanks, JIM
 
Hi Jim I've put some of the names down with the pictures but I can't do them all as the pictures all move about , the picture with our queen and her hubby is EnthuZiaZT , hope this helps :)

Was a great day yet again. just love Duxford classic, never gets old and what a turn out! Amazing cars and amazing people ;)

Thanks Shelly, yes it helps and hopefully one day soon I'll be put to the test of remembering if I get over the pond. JIM
