:rally:.....in the Derbyshire Dales.
No pre planned route, no satnav and no map.
Headed over towards Tansley, Ashover, Beeley moor and over to the old hall in Castleton for a sarny and a hot drink :hungry:.
There was a light dusting of snow on the higher peaks.

Had the roof down for most of the time, decided to leave it up when we got back in the car after a late lunch....1c brrrr.

Had to do the obligatory Wynots pass as we were so near it, stopped at the car park at the top, just round the corner for a few photos as the sun was starting to disappear.

Went the long way home from there, went towards Sheffield, had a play around the worm hill area and got a bit lost but it was all good fun :).
146 miles round trip and now Bob has eclipsed the 110k miles marker, still going strong though.
Didn't see any other zeds apart from 3 parked up Z3's. Saw one other soft top with the roof down which was an old MX5.

Weather was good for top down driving today. Unfortunately we had too much on to be able to get out in the Zed

We had Gary and Isabelle for the day so no contest really.:)

Great to see them both smiling and enjoying Christmas mate ;).
We had all our lot together yesterday, made it feel festive....but it was also nice when Jess went home and Amy and Tom retired to their rooms for the evening...........

I know what you mean mate;)

That's Garys I think Mike.
I am jealous of you getting out Steve but I just couldn't bring Reggie out with all the salt that's been thrown about. I know it causes mixed views but for me the zed stays put till spring.

Good to see you flying the Zedding flag Steve, even without us:whistle:. Great to see that you got out and even better with the top down:thumbsup:

The roads were 90% salt free and dry Grumps. We were on the A6 for a few miles and that was the only one with grit on it, most of it had gone......bloody stuff.
Soon be spring anyway mate .

Cheers Dave .
Felt like something was missing though .......but hopefully you can make up for it when you have a spare slot in your busy retired people diary ;).

Who owns the knackered old van?

That's his good van Mike (09) VW Crafter, his old knackered VW T4 is round the back and has been for a year. I think it's taken bloody root now!;)
