At the top of Hardknot pass.. #:-s
We made it in one piece but as you can see from the pic below, natural spring water was runing down the 30% inclines from the top making the rears slip on the way up!! :nearmiss)
we had to stop at the top to change our pants.. x_x

All those smashing pics, Liam & Caroline, makes us really envious and such gorgeous 'top down' weather too! :-bd What more could you want!! :ympeace: Definitely an EAC future expedition, will have to get our heads together planning for next year :ymhug:
That's Seasurfer & Snoops Manor, so I'm sure they would love to join us. :steer2)

Excellent photos Liam - the veiws are stunning and some great pics you have.

Thank you.. its a shame we didnt meet up but we had so much to do and see in the space of 3 days..
Im glad you and snoops made the pass ok as we were getting worried about you two.. We did the passes west bound and found the Hardknot incline arse clenching!! to say the least!! But was well worth it for the views..

Thank you!

I wanted to do something speacial for my 30th.. and i couldnt have asked for a better birthday :D
Yes i think a Lakes trip is in order for all to join next year.. would make one hell of a zed meet..

Seasurfer.. im very jelous that you get to live in this beautiful district.. :((

We went to Greenodd, Dudden Bridge, Ulpha then up over Eskdale which has stunning views before you even get to Hardknott. Sorry we missed you both, must have only been a few hours, if that, and glad you like our zedding roads up here, we have so many to choose from :D

Great pics Liam, glad you 2 had a good time. I have arranged a cruise up to the Lakes for the last 2 years and it is a breath taking area for drivers.

Superb pics Liam. :-bd
You two clicked some great weather up there - perfect for Zedding over those mountain passes. You'll need to get the //M raised up a bit for when the EAC go up there next year. Can see us all at the top now - huddled round Mike & Sandy's gas stove waiting for the old whistler to boil.... :)) Each time over the Hard Knott is always a little easier..... ;)

Glad you had a great time looks like a nice place to spend a weekend especially with that weather! I was in Scotland at the begining of the year and it's beautiful up there compared to the same flat old roads and fields we've got round here!

Great pics Liam, we are well up for a trip there next year. Oh by the way, who was the strange women who kept walking into the pictures?..... =))
