Write Up Bimmers & Burgers 2015

I missed a cracking meet in the new forest so I thought I might share with you all what I was up too.

A few years ago me and a few friends started a BMW group called "Bimmer Boys" we started doing a gathering at M-Style in Romford called Bimmers and burgers. A good way to start the car season.

This year we hit 205 cars in total. Great turn out with a variety of cars.

Not convinced by the M3 with the flared arches that makes it look like the current shape Beetle..

@BMBabe a few Dakar yellows kicking around that day.

@GazHyde That M3 is a car that has quite a few faults, one being that who ever fitted that arch kit blended the paint into the existing body work. There's a reason why they are bolt on mods and that's because they need to flex and this one has all the paint splitting round those arches.

I read about this meet in one of the BMW magazines I think, looks great, nice to see plenty of customized cars, some serious work there!

The M is looking awesome Lee, very aggressive!
Have you changed ride height at all?

@Dino D yeah I think its mentioned in all the mags now. The first year they didn't take it seriously but this time round we had photographers everywhere.

Well I fitted those powerflex bushes on the rear which changed the camber I also set the shocks to Race setting so they are really stiff and lifted the rear by 5mm and lowered the front a few mm.

I've then spent the last few weeks sorting all the attention to detail tinting the headlights etc.

@Jack0495 We do a few meets a year. I normally stick up event info the weeks leading up to them.

It's looking great, those little details take time but it shows. Thought I'd miss the white but this looks more 'race car' and serious especially with those wheel nuts and the text in the tyres.

Some serious money there Lee. I used to be into the golf scene when I was a lad. Reminds me of the good old days!
